Kristina Landas, M.A., CCC-SLP

Kristina earned her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2003.  She is an experienced and certified Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in working with pediatric clients. She has served as a Speech-Language Pathologist in private practice and school settings. Kristina holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

Kristina is skilled in providing services to toddlers, children and adolescents addressing a variety of speech and language disorders including receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, fluency disorders, phonological disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia of speech, tongue thrust, cleft palate, Autism Spectrum Disorders, various syndromes, intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. Kristina has completed several continuing education courses in a variety of topics. Some of these courses include: Practical Therapy Techniques for Apraxia and Dysarthria, Working with Preschoolers Who Stutter, Treating the School Age Child Who Stutters, The Hanen Program: It Takes Two to Talk, Social Thinking, The DIRr/Floortime Approach and Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing.

 

Kristina aspires to help her clients achieve their highest level of communicative potential. She lives in Leesburg, VA with her husband and two children. Kristina enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family.
